Mythical? Hey, Busse wouldn't be of Northern European derivation, would it? Maybe Jerry's actually an incarnation of Loki, the god of Mischief?
That might explain things like showing some folks cool protos and then quickly hiding them until some future date...
Also might explain the minor fib of some of his compatriots ("two weeks " I hear echoing somewhere...)
