Man, I'm not sure about the candy costs, but I remember buying Spiderman comics for a dime. Hard to believe it'll soon be clobberin' time for a whole new generation.

Don't recall a dime, but do $.12 an issue. Man, had I only kept all my comics.
My parents would rake my butt for buying "stuff thsat isn't worth anything" like comic books, baseball cards, plastic models (cars, monsters, Start Trek), and spy toys.....in the mid - late 60's
Oh well.....I miss my Johnny Seven - O.M.A. and Agent Zero 1 stuff....

Not the most recent issue, but a good representation of the times...
I saved a number of the oldies, but, back then I didn't know I shouldn't read them. Not to mention the relative scarcity of plastic comic bags.
