Death of a member

So sorry to hear of your loss - and I'm sorry I'd not had the opportunity of knowing your husband- he sounds like a great guy.
It makes me think...Death is part of life and I'm pretty sure that your husband, being a keen survivalist, would have deeply understood and accepted this and is happy where he is now, knowing you will join him one day over the water.

To sort of close the loop, here is a link to a thread that he started the day before his death. It primarily consists of pictures that he took of late winter snow scenes. In one of the pictures I think that you see his lone footprints. It includes encouragement for those of us who are still looking forward to Spring. He has moved on to eternal Spring now.

wow- lovely photos- he even took a photo of dog or wolf tracks. well, sounds like he had a good last day- good on him!
