December BCCI News Letter

Scott,

If you would like a few extra copies, let me know. As soon as I receive the overage, I'll send you some.

Yeah Scoot...that was cool to see your kid in the newsletter!!! :) Nice story/knives...lucky buck ;)

He's "almost" as good looking as Decaf (last issue...or, as they say in the press "yesterday's news"...LOL...crack myself up).

Maybe we can do a calendar...with a different Buckaroo for each month. Sell 'em at the nunnery or ol' widow's home.

Cool pics of Rusty too. I see that he packs more than one hat on his trail rides.

Well...I had to look on-line to see the newsletter as I have not received mine yet.
For the two events, I'd vote for the shopping gig.
For the second of two (can only pick two), I was gonna go for the River Queen cruise until I checked their website and determined that there's no gambling :(

So, for my second choice, I vote for the Crochet and Knitting Tips Seminar held at the Post Falls Rose Garden Tea Room as hosted by Joe Houser.
Or maybe the Berltiz Bucklish Seminar taught by Decaf and Haebbie (I'm still trying to understand why H threw soap at his wife???)...includes free decoder ring.

Thanks for the offer jb4570! Mine came late this evening. The picture of my son on page 7 caused quite a commotion at our house

Very Sweet Scott,

How cool is that!!!! Your son is a handsome fellow....must take after his mother:p. However, I see he has his pop's good taste for fine knives.

Goose,

I think you have come up with a great idea, club or Buck could do a calendar. With a Buck knife up close in front with a interesting location or situation in background. Sort of like the lawn Nome photos.

If I was 25 I would say, hey I will take my 303 and climb Mt. Everest and get the photo. I "would" have said that then.

You could do one on your ride with your 120 strapped on, say driving down the Vegas strip at night. Or on a beach highway with a sunset.

Best twelve by panel of judges made into a calendar, sold for profit to support club...I'll buy a couple, would make great Christmas gifts....Runners up could get pic's in fill-in spots in the newsletter....

It's your orginal idea....all I did is repeat what you meant.......

300$s

That really is a great idea, someone just did one over in the knifemakers forums, pictures of 12 different makers custom knives...looks like they sold well

At this point I dont think I can go but it sure would be nice if BCCI could record all the seminars for us who just cant make it..... Even if they just let the camera roll with no editing at all, Priceless! The regular DVD of the event im sure will go thru a compleat production process, mabe a rough clip of the seminars could be a easly added bonus...
