Yep. The BKF, especially, will leave the white ceramics virtually pristine, almost like new again. Very good stuff, when used properly.

I've been in the habit of washing my ceramic hones after each light use (touch-ups), using just some dish soap & water. That generally keeps 'em in fairly good shape. But, after heavy use, if the hone is heavily loaded up, then I'll use either the Comet or the BKF.
