Decent Hiking Boots/Shoes

Post back on your REI visit, I'm interested in your comments on the store in you area and what boots you selected.

Well .45, do you want the good, bad or stupid first?:eek:

A good 50 minute drive to a bustling, sprawling mall on a nice hot sunny Sunday afternoon.
I checked the website for directions before I left the house, but I should have called first.
The good, lots of nice eyecandy around the Charlotte mall.
The bad, REI was still under construction, doors propped open with workers scurrying about.:grumpy:
The stupid part.:thumbdn: Me not calling ahead to make sure the new store was open.

btw,
Camo seems to be very popular with the young ladies these days. Camo with spike heels....:D
 
Bummer..but hey I'm good with the babes in camo and spikes!:D


Is there another REI within driving distance....remember to call first;)

The rest are 2.5 hours plus. I`ll be patient till the closest one is ready. If I go with an online company like Zappo`s, in the meantime, I don`t pay for shipping or return shipping.
