Mcusta Moneyclip (MCU81)

The Mcusta can be had at Japaneseknifedirect.com. You have three or four shield designs to choose from and this is a very very well made money clip designed to be a money clip with the addition of a small quality blade with frame lock. You cannot find anything crappy on that site. Japanese are the finest cutlers in the world. IMO I am talking the real cutlers not the mass produced junk from Japan.

I would also suggest the Boker Subcom. I have the Wharcom and had the blade swapped for one made of M2, thumbstuds switched as well and replaced the scale with one one made of water-buffalo. It's a real looker.;);):D

No need to go nuts since the knife is quite capable in its original state, the new Ti version should be really nice as well.

I have a SOG Blink for years...it is a thin, AO with a thick pocket clip that works well to hold cash...it even has a lock to prevent accidental opening...IMO worth looking into.

I'm in the process of purchasing a Mountaineer 1 for $205. Does anyone have further information of why they are no longer made. Was there a recall?

Does anyone own a Chris Reeve Mountaineer 1, any thoughts?
