Decision: Kershaw Blur or Cold Steel Lawman

Both!
Hard decision. My two favorite knives are the lawman and S60V Blur. I decided to keep the Lawman and sell the blur simply because I wanted to keep only one good knife. I really really really regret selling that blur though. I should have just put it away for later.

The S60V Blur is a beautiful knife, sorry you sold it. I bought mine from a guy up past Seattle, it is one of my favorite knives in my collection.

If you can get over the fact that the AL is not made in USA it will suit your needs better. Triad lock is one of the strongest made today. Easier to sharpen too IMO.

I prefer American made, too. I would go for the Blur between those two. Standard Blur has a higher grade of steel that the Lawman, Blur usually costs less, and it's AO. Unless you are spine-whacking gophers over the head very hard, I don't know if one could tell a difference between liner lock on the Blur and the Triad lock on the Lawman... Another knife you could look at that is very similar to the Blur in blade size and weight is the Buck Vantage line (420HC, 13c26, or s30v steels) - USA made. The only hang-up on the vantage might be that you don't like flipper openers.

Another vote for the Buck Vantage Pro. Blur and AL good too, but if you don't like a recurve or not made in USA, the Buck will solve both issues. S30V blade, Bos heat treat, G10, lifetime Warr., and for $55 ... Steal. JMHO

I don't own a Lawman, but I own a Blur and it's not what I'd call bulletproof. It has a thin frame and the edge is a very thin hollow grind which is kind of the opposite of bulletproof to me. The Lawman seems more like what you are looking for.

Both!

Really.

You're S60V Blur is sitting right next to all my other Blurs. You can have it back whenever you want. :)
