Dedicated to My Loving Father.....

Thanks to everyone for the prayers, sentiments, and kind words. Dad is home now, and though he isn't any better, he smiles a lot more. Mom does too!!

Even though it will be tough, I will wait with my Daddy....I'm 54 years old, and he's still my Daddy!

Again, thanks guys. I wish words could express...

On 1/06/05 at approximately 5:00 pm PST, Reteriano Sevilla shipped his oars and took the final cruise to His Maker. Thanks be to his Jesus Christ. As has been said, Peace and Be Well, Shipmate.

My sympathies, DeathDancer.

Hopefully, 'final post from me' only means for this thread.

My heart is on the ground for you my friend.:( I wish I could do more than just sympathize, words just don't convey enough...

A friend of mine lost his father within the last week.

He's handled it as well as any man could. I think he's gotten through it by remembering the good times (which abound) and celebrating his father's life.

Remember that he lived well. A life to be proud of and an example to follow, from what you've said. He's not gone. He will always live on in those who loved him.

As I said, smoke rising. We're here.

Heartfelt condolences Rene. He is in a better place now, but that doesn't lessen the pain of his family. God bless.

My wife's father died on my birthday this past month. He was an incredible man, escaped from Austria and lived in India and came to the US on a Japanese freighter before Japan was at war with the U.S. A very well known physician and researcher. Very much a presence in my life for a long time.

I offer you and your family my best wishes and sympathy.

DD,

I am so sorry to hear for your father's passing. I'll say a prayer for him, you and your family.

Please do post as needed over the coming days. It helped me deal with Wal's passing. We are all family here.

Last night my friend Orville called from Idaho; his wife passed away. They are both about 90, and have been expecting to pass.

I thought Orville would go first but that isn't the way it happened. They'd been married all those years, always together, and I'm sure Orville now does not know what to do.

He is a great guy, wood worker and historian of the West.
But anyway, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry for your loss, and hope like my friend's wife he is not alone.

Rene,

I hope you learned a lot from each other. I suspect you did. It is a special honor for us to share time with beings like that.

Death is neccesary to resurection.

The child must die to become a teenager. The single person must die to become married, The couple must die to embrace children, the family must die as children beome adults. From each death there comes the flowering of new growth.

WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN

One by one their chairs were empty
One by one they went away
Here the circle has been broken
Will it be complete one day?

Will the circle be unbroken
Bye and bye Lord bye and bye
In a better home awaiting
In the sky Lord in the sky

The Circle that has been broken here will indeed be compete one day.

A while after my father's passing I had a strong sense he was near. And he was. Don't rule it happening to you out. Blessings to all of you.
