A tree blew over an my pops house this last weekend.. I took the time to give it a whack with the WTF.. I tried to give it a good healthy chop, no crazy super swings.. just a decent chop to see if it took a good bite.. I'm delighted..it felt wonderful and it bit deep with ease...let's see your deep bite pics..

Great to see that CS WTF in action Robdude!

Great thread Robdude. I was looking through my old chopping pics and I realize that I have not taken many pics of a single bite. To remedy that I just came out to my back yard to take a couple swings at a stump. My MOAB is fairly dull since cutting my printer in half with it, so normally it would bite a bit deeper. The Sasquatch is still quite sharp, and takes bites deeper than a great white. My swings were roughly 85% of full power since my arms are a bit sore and I didn't want to risk injury.

Not a Busse, but super hard dried out wood (knife is a Voorhis in 5160)...

Softer wood, 1 hit:

Well, everyone has to start somewhere I guess so good for you for trying. I suggest working out your upper body for a few months and then try again, I think you'll see a lot of improvement. Better still, get yourself a Busse and prepare to be impressed!

Cool thread, great pics. That war train fusion looks like it can make a mark!

Here's my pic, dry dead wood.

I took few more cross cuts at some seasoned wood, NMFSH did great, but by than my phone screen got wet, and made pics impossible

(Same block of wood, so it had been softened up a bit by the time the Parang hit it.)

Was deleting a bunch of old pics from my phone and found this one, may as well. This blade absolutely rocks:
