Yes sir, love that convex edge on the LE. Keep in mind though that block had been softened up some by the bb13 and dtbm. I picked a longer piece so it would hold up and be hard to split, but I can split shorter sections easily with a single blow of any of the above, provided the grain is relatively straight. (We get free scrap from friends who run a local pallet operation.)
