Does anyone know where one can get a deep carry clip for the Spyderco Endura/Delica?

Thank you.

This fits with slight filing (diamond file or Dremel) to the holes.

Looks like this on a Para2:

Awesome! Thank you for the response.

What kind of work do you need to do (and to what)?

Also, is there an easy way to "paint" these black? Would Krylon be accceptable?

Regular black spray paint wears off in no time. What I did was after painting them spray them with clear lacquer. About six or eight coats will do it then to dry completely I let them sit for a month before putting them on the knives. I have been carrying one for several months now and I see no wear at all so far. But then I also don't rub up against any brick walls.

Something I always do with my clips, including the specific clips your talking about(the USAknifemaker clips that is), is to cover them with 3M Stair step tape. This stuff is black and it has a grippy surface. It also sticks to the clip very well, so it ain't coming off until you decide to take it off. If interested in this you can check with a hardware store, or maybe a paint store. I get mine from the local ACE Hardware.

Btw, you need to degrease the clip before appying anything, paint or tape.

The holes for the clip screws are a bit too far apart (fits the older Spyderco 3 screw clips) so you need to widen the holes a bit towards the center. Takes a few minutes with a good file or Dremel tool.

STR is very nice:

The usaknifemaker clips are Ti so you can always heat annodize them to a darker color, I got mine to match my jeans very well.
