Hi all,
I was gifted a Deep See Wenoka blunt tip fixed blade dive knife several years ago when I obtained my diving certification. Haven't been diving since, so this knife has just sat around unused. The blade is made with 304 S.S., and has a blunt tip, along with a serrated edge with a rope cutting hook on one side, and a plain edge on the other (which isn't very sharp). To make this even a tad usable to strap to a pack or something, I want something other than a blunt tip, and I thought if I could make it into a tanto it would be usable, along with sharpening up the straight edge.
How feasible is this to do without making it look like it was taken to a grinder? Should I even bother?
Thanks for the help.
