I saw on the Blade Show exhibitors list that a company called Deepak Chopra Cuttlery will have a booth. Does anyone know if this is the Deepak Chopra of new age guru books fame?

I don't think so, but if you want to check for sure, here is some contact info.

I had bought a limited edition balisong from Phil at 2thehilt. I had some questions and he referred me to the distributor, Deepak Chopra. I had his name and home & cell phone numbers written on a note pad at my computer. My wife saw it and thought that I had become a follower of the guru Deepak Chopra. (for those of you who, like me, have no idea who this guru was/is, do a google search on the name) My wife finally got up the nerve to ask me why I was calling Deepak Chopra. When I told her it was about the balisong I had ordered for our son, she gave me a really weird look. Then explained who the guru Chopra was. For once, my wife was relieved that I was buying another knife. The funny thing was that both Deepak's lived in the same town at the time. ??? When I did talk to him, I did not ask if they were one in the same. He was a nice guy and answered my questions on the bali. I figured if Tony at Microtech can send out religious pamplets with his knives, Deepak may also sell me a balisong.
:D

We know Deepak, he is not who you think, and is a very nice guy! Paul

Have purchased knives from Deepak Chopra many times before seeing the books in the store. Next time I talked to Deepak I asked and he told me they are no relation at all, just coincidence on the name. BTW, Deepak is a great guy to work with and is a distributor for many brands of knives.
