Deer Skinner/field Dressing Knife ?

I prefer a drop-point with a blade of around 3"-3.5". A Fallkniven F1 with its grippy, rubberized handle is just about perfect, I think. But I prefer to carry a Blackjack Woodsman (discontinued, at least for now....) with full stag handle because I like the looks!

With a fairly short drop point, you can flip the knife over and nest the blade between your fore- and middle-finger to open up the abdomen without piercing the innards.

For some reason, I never cared for the upswept "skinner" type blades. I always liked a drop point best; clip point second best.

Stay sharp,

THE sharpfinger has been mentioned a few times. The blade i prototyped DOES look a lot like the sharpfingert it so maybe i,ll continue w/it.

I could show the pattern to my brother but im sure he would say he liked it even if he didnt.

I've tested a few knives on deer. My Strider SnG is numero uno!

BL = 3.5"
AOL = 8.25"

A truly great knife that WILL become a classic, if it's not already.
