My Dad has one, he got it free for subscribing to Field and Stream , Sports afield , or Outdoor Life.I think its a wonderful knife. He field dresses deer with it every year. Id love to own one.

Great field blade - 1095 razor sharp. It was my first purchase at 13 years - 30 years ago.

Here it is with it's little skinning brother - 152OT:

Close up pics are great, but so are the ones that put the knives into a family, a yard, a life. Thanks! I have a 15 with the old PAT. PEND. stamp, and another Ducks Unlimited with an Uncle Henry staglon handle and a pierced blade in the shape of a duck's head.

Yeah Brians. What was in that caldron?

Hippies that were on the lawn - just kidding.

Use to boil our own maple syrup the old fashioned. You know how long it takes? Bout 18 beers ;)

I could sell all my knives, except those two and their buddy:

They are big knives!

Here is one of the first Schrade blanks I completed that wasn't a Sharpfinger.
The handle is Bokote wood.

I always looked at the older Schrade Deerslayers as a boy, and I thought it was cool.Oldies had the carbon blades. The new ones by Taylor have stainless from China.
