Default knife configurations you can't stand

I used to join threads like these and spend many, many words talking about things I don't like on knives, my "Will Not Buy a Knife If..." lists and so on....and then it came to a point where I realized that I owned at least a few knives in my collection that I enjoy that broke all or most of those "Don't wants", so these days I'll just say that I enjoy some traits more than others, but if I like the knife for other reasons (materials, steel, maker, etc.) all of those things can be overriden. Your mileage, as always, may vary.
Sir, this is the internet: there is no room for nuance or "shades of gray." You must truly hate something. Dig in your heels and convince us to hate it too.

As for me, I've grown to hate finger choils on knives that extend beyond the handle and reduce the length of the cutting edge. Well, that is except for on my Spyderco Military 2. And my PM2. And, I suppose, my Stretch 2 and Para 3. Oh yeah, and my Dragonfly. And I reckon my Dawson Cicada is pretty cool (I actually added the choil myself).

I hate so much about what you choose to be!

🤣 🤣 🤣

However going along, I hate knives that are too big, except for my Spyderco Big Chiefs, Buck 110s (all of 'em), Military, or Cold Steel...well, ok, I can't list all of them out, it's several.

Finger grooves, not a fan, thankfully not too common either--- however I dont care too much for knives which handles are shaped in such a way to strongly encourage a specific way to hold them and therefore create hotspots when you try to grip it in a different way. This is an annoyance but depending upon the model and knife blade I still might bite

Honestly to me nothing is more boring than a button lock, specifically a button lock flipper.

Choils on fixed and folders especially folders that make the cutting edge even less.I never found the need to choke up on a blade: i also hate all the recent oulandish blade shapes ,goofy and ugly slots and elongated holes in the blades and youtubers whos focus is fidgety reverse flick drop shut circus knives over heat treat and real world practical Use.Also want to add youtubers pushing weird Amazon and no name flash in the pan 15 minutes of fame knives that are forgotten on 6 months…

Imagine the knife with 4 pocket clips installed on it
Better yet, let's just do away with pocket clips all together! I hate them pants shredding knife losing contraptions.
It seems like they are too big, too ugly, too tight, too loose, in the way when you are actually bearing down on the knife trying to make a hard cut. I personally prefer a pocket dropper, unless I am working on a vehicle or something with greasy oily hands.

Choils that go right to the edge of the blade. Hinderer, the OG Bradford Guardian 3, Smith and Sons Axiom, etc.....
