defective commander, or not

I recently purchased an Emerson Commander. I like it alot. Its like an AFCK on steroids. My problem is this. It seems that there is very little of a ball detent. I like the wave feature but I almost cant pull it out of my pocket without the blade coming at least partially open. Is this normal for commanders or should I send it back

? There is no blade play and I am getting great lockup. I just wish the blade were a little harder to open.

I have a Commander and the blade is easy to open. Did you try to tighten the Piviot pin. Try this if is doesn't work and you want to sell it let me know. Is it a black blade?
