I purchased a Case Knife and there are some pre-drilled holes started on the handle. Does this add any value to a knife when it comes from the factory.

Would it be possible to post a pic or scan of the knife? What model number? I have no idea myself, but I am interested to know too. I am sure there are Case folks here who will tell us.
