Here is what I said in regard to some negative feedback about us on a self reliance forum which shall be not named.

Actually you are wrong to believe all Beckerheads are that way. we love what our knives have done for us and how they have helped us...some of us are currently serving this country or have served..some of us are law enforcement as well as some of us are bushcrafters and last but not least, just plain ol" knife enthusiasts. We have an appreciation for many different brands of knives and tools..we often do side by side comparisons on what would be a good match to compliment our different Bks and such. You should check us out on the forum if you would like..cheers. BECKERHEAD # 187

Found the thread and don't really see any problem with it.

On the one hand he states "fanboyism" but then on the other, he says: "Kabar's manufacturing + Ethan's designs = quite possibly the best collaboration on the market today."

As to "fanboyism, the ESEE guys are a lot worse! :D

Just came across that on the other forum, good on ya buddy. I promoted the BK7 again, lol.

Nah...if anything we might have him come over and see that we are friendly folk that just love to use some of the best knives in this world.

keep it non violent and non political guys ;)

there is a policy about dissing other forums, by name, not sure about inference, so... leaving it for now.

Yeah, the way I am reading it doesn't make it seem as if anything negative was meant. I could be wrong but it seems as if he is calling out his own fanboyism more than anything, and hey, that is just fine by me.

Same. I don't see anything bad about it at all.

I'm a member there as well. Good info to be had on a variety of subjects very much like here. Great folks as well, just like here. Remember one person, making one post, does not mean much. I have posted many things, that in the long run, I wish I hadn't. Some I was wrong to post, some because they were not interpreted the way I meant them to be. The written word can be very misleading, not knowing tone or inflection.

What about someone like me, who's a Becker fanboy, a KA-BAR fanboy, and an ESEE fanboy!!

It's going to cause a, oh no here it comes, it's a

[FANBOY SINGULARITY]

.

Actually, it's all about how you like your eggs that make you what you are.

For example, if you like eggs Benedict, well...

Ain't nothin' to get panties in a wad over. Gentle correction is always the best direction.

Not yet a "Beckerhead" but as a Peckerhead#217 I'm gonna have to go check that one out.

Poached eggs on toast for me. (Rye)
