Defense against grizzly bear

Let me see now, the last knife I used to kill a bear was an Old Hickory paring knife. I remember it well because I got in so much trouble, I has seven and Mom sure liked that teddy bear....

I saw a show on the Discovery channel last week about these natives who hunt in the forest where there are lots of tigers. They wear a mask on the back of their head so that it appears to the tiger that they are facing it and backing away. So I think they do attack from behind.

I'd suggest a mask worn backwards and a .454 Casull! :-)
