I've worn this jacket moderately, but it's in excellent shape. There are no picks, rips, or tears. It is black and size large with no hood. This is an excellent jacket made here in the US. It's exceptionally warm for its weight, which is very light. Defense Mechanisms are the same folks behind Enlightened Equipment. If you're not aware of them, they make excellent backpacking gear.
