deflip a flipper?

How do you want it done? Take the flipper tab down to match the profile of the scales or take the scales down as well?

i was thinking more of just taking the flipper away. I hadnt thought about removing or grinding any of the scale material or liner material. I dont mind that area of the scales so much, sort of acts like a choil.
Was maily thinking about it being more like the emersons without a flipper.
was also thinking about having the wave ground off while the work is being done, not positive on that yet, but for sure dont like the flipper.

ive decided im not a flipper type guy but cant sell or trade trade the sheepdog away, it was a gift, so ill just customize it to my liking.
