How would you feel about taking a BM Dejavoo or a mini-Dejavoo with you? As your folder, not your only knife. Something to compliment your fixed blade.

I'm really liking the looks of this knife, and it just feels great in the hand, really smooth action. But I don't know how durable it is?

I'm looking for a new pocket knife, and this one is at the top of my list for EDC (If I can leave my leatherman behind). I just want to know if it could take the wilderness if needed.

L!

Personally, I would not take any liner locking knife. I would actually take a slipjoint. Its safer because you know it doesnt lock.

the voo is a wonderful blade with a very unique feel to it...i have two, one in both sizes and both PE, but to be honest while it is a favorite knife of mine i do not think it would be very well suited to woods work. both of mine an numerous others i have handled have slight to moderate side to side blade play thus making me feel less safe about medium to light heavy cutting, and while the smooth opening feature is awesome i can see it as a liabilty in the woods allowing alot of crap inside.
on the plus side....it can very easily be wiped out...very open construction and the s30v blade would hold an edge for a long time for sure.

for me...not a woods knife, the griptillian fits that purpose very well.
but definatly one i will carry in town.
