it was part of a discussion from the spyderco forum, I would try to find the exact quotation but the gist of it was that for some reason the knives would be assembled by spyderco. is does seem strange to the more I think about it. I'll be back soon

this passage was quoted at the source remains unknown to me, it might even be a theoretical they should say this type of quote
