This model is the Expert, which was Marble's reply to customers who thought the Ideal was too thick and heavy for hunting and outdoor needs. The Expert has a thinner blade and reduced guard for greater usability in skinning and butchering tasks.
 
Looks in great condition, great pics. I had several of these in the 70's and enjoyed giving them away over the years to younger boys in the family. They're great knives.
