Deleting membership

I am uncertain how to delete my membership.

I am guessing that I write a thread here and then will be planked? (unsure).

Usually, the way I "leave" a forum is I just don't visit the forum anymore. If you want to stop receiving emails, make sure you're logged in and then click on this link:

http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/usercp_email.php?

Then uncheck the "Receive mass emails from board administration" checkbox and click "Proceed".

That should do it.

Memberships aren't deleted. All you have to do is log out and don't come back.

I think it's a good website. I just got off on the wrong foot here in presenting a knife for identification with over-enthusiam. My error...not as a troll (nothing intentional on my part).

I've learned a great deal being on here for about a week though and as stated feel this is a wonderful site for educating oneself on knifes. I didn't mean to imply anything bad in asking this question.

Thanks for the answers. Previously, I did belong to a website that had a deletion option...so that is the only reason I asked. I only belong to one other forum and hadn't looked to see if there was this option on that site, but assumed there would be on all sites from the first Christian forums I belonged to that there was one. That's the problem with assuming.

Sorry. I'm not a heavy Internet person. It's new to me.
