Delica 4 Blade Play

I recently bought a new Delica 4 and I like everything about it but the blade play. It moves up and down, left and right. When I try to tighten the pivot screw, it is either too tight to open/close or it continues to wiggle. Is there a trick that I don't know about or should I return it?

Maybe loosen the lockbar's screw a little bit. Make that one firm, not tight. Then see if there's a middle-ground where your blade will have no play yet still open and close easily.

Thank you. I didn't even think about adjusting other screws (besides the pivot). It locks up tighter and now I don't have to exchange or return it.

Yeah, similar issues occur with any knife with an adjustable stop-pin (and some without).

Glad you like it - the Delica is the "standard" Spyderco you have to have. The Endura is better though

Does the Carbon Fiber Delica IV even count for this? It seems to me that with the different grind and scales it would be almost considered a seperater knife from the delica line.
