hey guys, im new to bladeforums. this thread caught my eye because i got bored last weekend and took apart my endura and did some file work on it and taking the coating of the blade trying to get a unique look. any ideas? or if you guys want to see pics let me know

On a related note- That's a great mod! I am like you; very impatient. Sure it's ugly, but you can always fix that with some sandpaper and a buffer, but you don't have to. It might help to put a microbevel on it with your EF or white sharpmaker stones - It would give the edge more cutting life. Also, do you think we can get some pictures of it shaving hair? Thanks

well, i hope this works, never tried to upload pics to a forum. also keep in mine i just started it last weekend. hope to finish it soon but im pretty busy, pcs'ing it hawaii from germany here shortly so my days are getting pretty full.

I too am lazy. I sent my D4 off to Tom Krein for a full flat grind. He does great work.
