Delica 4 or Endura 4

For those of you who have both...which one do you carry more and why?

and if you could only have one of them which one would you get?

I'm trying to decided between the two...

I have both - prefer the Delica. It feels better in my hand, takes up less space in my pocket, and has most of the blade length of the Endura. Nothing against the Endura (I own 3 Enduras, and 4 Delicas), but I would take the Delica first.

I prefer the extra blade length of the Endura. I have both models, use them both, but the Endura gets more pocket time.

I own both myself and usually carry the Deli.

Due to its rounded form its more sheeple-friendly (quite a concern here in Germany) than the larger Endura.

For city-EDC the Delica its more then adequate. If I´m out in the woods, the Endura has its carry-time...

Ok..so I'm really leaning towards the Endura because of the size. Now I have another comparison. Gonna start a new thread.

I have a Delica, which I think is a good utility knife. The Endura is great as well but as noted above, the larger size can be intimidating towards others.
Now, while the Delica is perfectly fine, I do think that Spyderco offers a compelling alternative: the Caly 3, as it gives me the impression of being in (even) higher quality with its dual steel liners. I also love the leaf-shaped blade. Check it out.
Another interesting alternative for pure slicing is the Centofante 3. Roughly the same size as the Delica, the thinner blade makes for a somewhat less sturdy yet superior slicer.

I prefer my E4, for some reason I like the heavier, more solid feel of the Endura, it feels like a much more tougher knife. The D4, is great too but I think its just too light for me...

I carry a "waved" Delica 4 in my back pocket every day. I have the ZDP Endura as well but it is larger than I want for an EDC.

Endura 4 is my choice for heavier use (cutting vines, brush, breaking down cardboard etc.). I like both blade and grip size, but for everyday pocket time, the Delica 4 is more convenient and fits my hand well enough. Compared to the Endura, it doesn't give up very much in capability and is more easily managed. For those reasons, if I had to choose only one, it would be the D4.

Ask another time, however, and my opinion might be just the opposite :D .

I've been struggling with this same question for the past few days. I was leaning toward the Delica at first because it seems more pocket-size and less intimidating if I need to use it in public. Last night I took two knives, one that is roughly the same length as the Endura (my old Sod Buster) and a Delica knock-off and cut various things to compare them. One of the first things I did was slice some grilled chicken for fajitas. The Delica knock-off was too short. Cutting meat might not sound like a task for a pocket knife, but I do take steaks to work for my lunch sometimes and putting a regular steak knife in my sack lunch isn't practical. I'm looking for an Endura.

Delica4waved is almost always my 2nd folder that I carry.

But ultimately it comes down to personal preference.

I prefer the endura. For some reason it seems to feel more solid than the delicas I have handled. The size doesn't bother me at all. It's a thin knife and I typically carry it in my left rear pocket. Even when I clip it to my front pocket it doesn't feel overly large or intrusive.

I prefer the delica over the endura. i own both but the size, blade shape, and comfort level on the delica hit a sweet spot for me. I love my endura (waved pe) but for a day to day carry option you just can not beat the Delica. :)
Good luck

They're the same thing except for the size...

I have both, but I've hardly got a chance to use my Endura yet (it came with a 50˚+ angle, and I sent it to the factory for reprofiling). I did use it a little bit, and from what I can tell, the Delica seems to be a slightly better cutter, maybe due to the thinner blade. The Delica's handle also seems to fit the hand better.

personally i think the delica is just a little too small and the endura is just a little too big. that being said i carried an endura every day for about 2 years and it worked great for me. hard to go wrong with either but for me i'd go with the endura.

The Delica works hard, I get better leverage with it than the Endura. If I don't take my Milli into the woods I take the Endura for the size that might be needed in the wild. EDC though, Delica PE all day long.

Endura.

Neither knife is terribly comfortable to me in this grip, so with the Endura I at least have the option of moving my hand back to give me a more comfortable grip, though it has a greater leverage disadvantage.

For me, it's the Delica for most EDC things ( I tend to work in high tech and don't normally require anything larger - doesn't mean I don't carry larger, though:)) If I'm doing yardwork, or reno work, though, I will typically have something a little larger like the Endura. I actually have an E4/SE/FRN on the way, as well as one of the H1 Salts in SE (to replace my Rescue 93mm I gave away to a friend):D I normally use one of the older Enduras as my larger blade "beater".
