I didn't mention before that I didn't care much for the Delica at first, but when I started to carry it as a work edc, it quickly grew on me.
Well I called up Spyderco last week to order a couple of stainless steel clips for the Delica and Endura with my credit card in hand, I was greeted by a friendly young lady who was going to take my order.
Her computer wouldn't come online so she told me it was my lucky day and she would have to send them out no charge.
She took my information and I got them today
I got two for the Delica and one for the Endura(they appear to be identical)
I was and have always been impressed with their customer service and my respect for Sal and company continues to grow by leaps and bounds as my Spyderco collection grows and I spend more time on this and the Spyderco factory forum
All I can say is
Thank You Spyderco
Hey, so when is the next computer out day at Spyderco?Sweet deal PC - good for you and good for Spyderco to be so good to their customers. Nice little collection you have there. I like wires and stainless clips.
Just take the clip off and drop the knife in your pocket![]()
Good stuff. ^
I never had a Delica but I have an Orange one incoming. I need to try one.

I think I'm probably the only person who doesn't like wire clips.

Don't mean to pick on you but this is one thing that bugs me a lot. Titanium would actually be a worse material for write clips because while by weight it is stronger and has a slightly higher elastic modulus (I.e. springiness) than steel, by volume it's less. So a titanium write clip would have to be like 50% thicker to be noticeably more solid than a steel one. You might save a marginal amount of weight, but it would look really weird. This is why Ti clips tend to be much thicker and less springy than steel ones, and why stock clips are almost always steel. </rant>How 'bout a Ti wire pocket clip?![]()
No problem lol. Terminology like "stronger", "tougher", and "more rigid" get thrown around a lot interchangeably even though they're actually 3 different things. It's hard to tell the difference unless you've taken a materials course or something.50- Thanks for the explanation.
I'm still learning.

The thing I like best about the wire clip is that it's easier on clothes, furniture, and car paint jobs.
If the only knife I had was a Delica I could be happy.
