Delica Blade

I too, am looking for a deep carry clip for my delica. I took a look at the one above but they look kinda bulky imo. I like what's going on in this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1071916-Spyderco-Delica-4-Cheap-Deep-Carry-Clip-Mod

Super cheap and easy to do. Just gotta order it...
There's a problem with those clips.

Notice that the clip does not touch the smooth center logo on the scale but rests on the 'volcanoes'. This will cause the fabric of the pants to be caught and will be snagged. When pulling it out, it will sound like the fabric is ripping ... and may very well end up doing so.

Casey does make longer ones that address this problem, in case this issue has stopped anyone before.

Looking at the base of the blade a individual would have to have a very nice and expensive electric sharpening system to get that grind started which looks just like a typical factory grind, I take out the beginning swoop of the edge when I sharpen.

My last new in box Delica had a polished edge straight from the factory. I picked it up maybe 6 months ago.

There is also the tip of the blade which is different from the Delica Clip it for example.
The end/the tip is bigger than before.
They make it to make that part stronger than in the past.
Users used to broke the tip.

I thought it was that part you were wondering about.

A little late, but just for OP's peace of mind, so did mine. I've handled a few within the past year and all of them had polished edges.
