Delica lockback tightness Wave saber vs FFG

I simply spray WD 40, into the pivot of an opened knife, from the bottom of tang (inside the handle). It'll help moving out debris and gunks. Usually it helps immediately improve the action. If it's still too tight then maybe yes, loosen the pivot a bit (blade & lockbar). Some of these have the blade tang - lockbar interface not smooth enough, or the blade-washer having gunks.


My Stretch is the smoothest, with E4 SB and E4 VG10 SG.
Some take time, some take a bit of fiddling.
Most important is your satisfaction. ;)
 
A toothpick or needle for application, to the sides of the blade for the washers, on the blade / lockbar interface rubbing surface with slightly heavier lub.

Open and close several hundred times,,,, works into the bearing surfaces.

This is for new knives, not older gunked up users.
