Delica or Native- I STILL can't choose!

I agree that the Native is a particular design. In my opinion, it is quite brilliant. The way it locks into my hand is really neat, and the combination of materials and workmanship is very impressive.

I've owned three - and for me, it isn't the best choice simply because of the way I tend to hold and use a knife; but for some (or many?) there simply isn't a much nicer feeling knife I'm told.

Fred Perrin, man. He and the people who make Selmer saxophones and Buffet clarinets are the reason I don't completely dissmiss the French. (Edited to add you too, nico. Welcome!)
Anyway, about the Delica and Native, get both, they're not that expensive, and carry the one you like best. I like the Delica, and the Endura; When I recommend Spydercos to women I find they like the Native. Don't know why.

I have a CPM-440V Native and I was delighted by the manufacturing quality and finish (not to mention that 3mm thick 440V blade). NIB, it had the smoothest action I ever seen at a FRN folder. Yet, for some reason, it just doesn't fit my hand well (the way a Calypso jr. does, for instance).
Therefore, my very EDC still is a trusty VG-10 SE Delica (a bit modified, I admit):
