I am going to try and narrow my Spyderco collecting down to the Delica.
Even at that it will be quite an investment. Now to the question. Did Spyderco ever offer the Delica with the Web design? I see an Endura on Ebay advertised as “RARE KNIFE! Special WEB Spyderco Endura! Very Few Made!”
Any information will be appreciated.

Yes they did. It looks like someone told the seller on Ebay that Spyderco would do that to any knife for a fee. I wasn't aware of that. However, from a collector standpoint the Delica with the web design that matches this one was on the Delica 2 in AUS 6 steel. There were a bunch for sale for awhile (I think a distributor had a bunch made up) but I don't see them for sale very often. I'm sure someone else will chime in with a little more info.

The web design has been applied to just about every all stainless Spyderco made, at one time or another. However, it has never been offered as a "variant", it is more in the nature of an "after market" embellishment done by Spyderco themselves. You could, if you were willing to spend the money, purchase a "new old stock" Delica II, send it to Spyderco and have it web engraved. You could do the same with the new all stainless Delica IV.

Not too many dealers order quantities of engraved knives, and probably fewer individuals have it done post-purchase. So that eBay seller's comment, while extremely deceptive, is technically true.

Great. I learned something. I will give the good folks at Spyderco a call and see what they would charge to Web up a couple of new SS Delica 4's. Thanks

For custom engraving, Spyderco charges a set-up fee (used to be around $45) plus an engraving fee. To give you a rough idea - in 2002, for a run of 20-25 knives, it cost $15 per knife for a portion of the set-up ($2-3) and the engraving of a web design on blade and handle.

If Spyderco hasn't already done a set-up (programming the laser) for a SS Delica 4 you would have to pay the set-up fee plus engraving cost.

I sent 6 of my SS Delica’s back to Spyderco for the Laser Web engraving. 3 ea of the Delica II’s & 3 ea of the Delica 4’s. I called them before returning to make the necessary payment arrangements. They charged me a flat $25.00 setup fee, x $3.00 per knife plus $8.00 S&H. $51.00 total. I just received them back today and Spyderco did a great job.

Whardi---Great webs, great collection and great knives. Thanks for the pics.
