I bought both S30 Delicas and really like the steel upgrade. The S30 wharncliffe Delica is a sweet knife too. Love the orange.

Uh oh, not cool. I hope not as I've got one on the way. I know some people prefer a Patina on their blades but I don't.
mwramos76 what sort of climate do you live in and how do you store, maintain, and clean the knife? I don't know how corrosion resistant S30V is compared to say VG-10 but I wouldn't expect a patina unless the climate and maintenance/storage made for a recipe to enable the corrosion/patina to occur. I apply oil to the blades and pivots of all my knives regardless of how corrosion resistant the steel is.
