Thanks for the your input, I'll check out the retailers you suggested, as far as which knife, I think the delica will suit me better for now. CheersExceptionally similar knives, one big, one small. The Delica will slice and carry in the pocket a bit better, the Endura will have better reach and be a bit more robust. As for Amazon, well, I would advise against using them for Spydercos, as they are often counterfeited and your average Amazon employee isn't gonna have a clue as to what to look for to tell the difference. Given Spyderco's MAP policy there isn't likely to be much of a price difference and a dealer that supports Bladeforums like Knifecenter, Knifeworks, GPKnives, BladeHQ or New Graham knives will offer you much more expertise and protection if you buy from them.
I own both, never carry the Endura, its just too large(it's for sale in fact). If/when I need something larger than the Delica, I'd much rather have a fixed blade since there isn't much penalty in the carry for a much, much tougher tool.
Oh, and the Endura might scare some people, so you might be limited on where you're able to use it; might be a concern if, like me, you use your knife for peeling/cutting apples, oranges, tomatoes and stuff in public places. The Delica doesn't scare anybody.
I've had a different experience, in my experience smaller knives get less noticed by bystanders.if a knife by looks scares anyone than any knife will do it. ive tested this at my office and around tourists from knife unfriendly areas in big cities etc. like montreal.those who are scared by an endura are scared by a delica or for that matter a peanut or sodbuster just as much.

But I guess it also depends on the attitude and mannerism, if I single handedly flick open an Endura in an authoritative manner and then attack an apple like a ninja who's fighting for is life I would get noticed more than if I discreetly open the knife with two hands and peel the apple like a chef in his kitchen.
Of course, there are a few who notice and get scared of everything, but mental cases like this are few thankfully.
I must admit, I haven't found this to be true at all.
