Delica vs endura

I have medium hands and prefer Endura, great for food and fruits. The Delica is just a tad short for some tasks.

if a knife by looks scares anyone than any knife will do it. ive tested this at my office and around tourists from knife unfriendly areas in big cities etc. like montreal.;) those who are scared by an endura are scared by a delica or for that matter a peanut or sodbuster just as much.
I agree.
Furthermore, if the user thinks his knife is scary, that feeling is more likely to be conveyed to others around him. If the user treats his blade as a routine everyday tool, others usually don t pay attention to it. In my exprience.
I carry the Endura. It s 3/4 inch longer than the Delica.

Most people use a kitchen knife for food prep and so that is low on the list for EDC tasks, for me. I love the Endura and will own more. But, push comes to shove, the Delica does everything I need such a knife to do and does it with less weight and size.

Now, if the question had of been "which knife, the Endura or PM2?" I would have said the Endura, hands down.

never warmed up with Endura. The handle feels weird - the first groove is too big for one finger and too small for two fingers.

I have medium to large hands and the current Delica feels like it was made for me. I also have a SE Endura - it feels good too but the I prefer the Delica. I've owned a Delica of some sort since the model came out. Other than the original molded clip, the current Delica 4 is my favorite. I've used them as an EMT and an Army Medic and never had one fail. My current user is a FFG PE Delica 4 in Brown. I've carried it on hikes & Scout trips, but mostly it is my Khaki Commando knife at work.

The only time I prefer my SE Endura is for use as a steak knife while eating out at restaurants.
