I have several different Spyderco models (as my addiction grows!) but had never really thought about the WAVE models... until today. I picked up a Delica Wave this morning and haven't been able to stop playing with it and watching it quickly deploy from my pocket since! This is such a cool model which really caught me by surprise.. I'll definitely be giving this new blade a place in my EDC rotation.. By the way, the color's sweet too, gray FRN... Anyone with thoughts on the Wave models?

My best, my favorite EDC. Just be careful sharpening it. I ruined the tip on mine with poor sharpening skills.

I got a regular Endura recently, and I really miss the Emerson Opener.

Love my Delica4 wave :)

I usually have it clipped in my back pocket next to my wallet. Great little knife.

I have two D4W's - one PE (just sent to Tom Krein for the FFG treatment :)) and one CE. I also have a PE E4W and really like all of them, but the CE D4W has gotten the most pocket time. Of course that will likely change when I get the PE one back with it's new grind.:D

Oh yeah, the FRN used on the waved models is definitely my favorite color FRN too.

:thumbup: for the Delica Wave. I thought it was ugly at first, but it's growing on me quite nicely :D The wave is not necessary, but it's not a detriment either. When i first got it, I waved it open a bunch of times until I was comfortable with it. Now I just tilt it forward on the draw so I don't wave it, saves your seams :) Just nice to know it's there if I ever need it.

Next is CE E4W. Too bad civilians don't come waved also, might be nice to have. :)

Its the reason I now carry 2 knives, it rides well in the back pocket. I know I am not color blind but my handles are blue, any one know why?

Thats what I was thinking, thanks for clearing that up.
