I graduated from Wauseon High School 112 years ago. . . . Ron, Garth, and Josh all graduated from Delta High School. . . . (The sworn enemies of Wauseon). . .

I showed these guys a design idea that I had put on a number of blades around 1994!!!!. . .

Now they've taken my design and tainted it with their polluted minds!!!!!

Poor old Bushwacker never saw it coming!!!! :eek:

They gave me a special "Delta Mistress" last week for my 50th birthday!!!!

Now, I can never look at my knife again without thinking about Delta!!!! :barf:

(Actually, it looks pretty darned cool. . . Delta guard hole and all. . . )

I added the pic to my original post!

I had put these triangular "Delta holes" on a very small military run of Busse Combat blades in '94!

The originals were laser cut and were nowhere near as clean as this machined version. . .

The "Delta Boys" gave me this as they were pulling out for Knob Creek!!! :eek:

Poor ol' Ron was left behind to deal with my drunken rants about Delta High School ! ! ! :grumpy:

Garth and Josh will be back tomorrow!!!. . . Oh, they'll get theirs . . .

Black and Tan...Delta guard hole...and the best Busse factory treatment money can't buy. Very sweet, Jerry! Great birthday present, indeed.
 
I actually bought the black/tan SAR4 and SAR8 because of the way the Boss-man was talking it up :)

Of course, he was right. NO REGRETS!
