SOLDUSA shipping only. No trades. This model has some use marks as I had to use it some. I grabbed a small log from the wood pile I stored inside for winter. Unfortunately I did not notice some of the bead blast powder dust got down into some of the already existing cracks in the logs and on the wood itself until the deed was done. Having gloves on I didn't notice the grit. Nothing I did using a baton affected the folder at all as guaranteed by this astounding lock! But the powder did put some minor tells on the blade. Otherwise, its un-phased but it does show some that it was used just not bad. It is perhaps one of the nicest custom knives I've ever owned or ordered. Huge, but Andy did a stand up job on this one. It is a rare thumb plate opening model with the patented thumb plate by Andrew. It locks up like a bank vault when opened. Absolutely astounding really and I hate to sell it but I have another item in mind and I'll sacrifice. First person to say I'll take it can get it. I'll leave it up until its too late because the other is gone or until I think too much
I wanted $1000 for this but with the slight use I thought to start this at $900 shipped insured with signature confirmation. Again states only, pay pal preferred, money orders fine too. STR@bladeforums.com for pay pal. You are welcome to make offers to me privately also. Please be sure the address in the payment is the correct one as I have to ship to the payment address to get buyer/seller protec. coverage on the pay pal end. Also, if paying by credit card I will be holding the folder and shipping it until the required time for that to clear as these can be refunded and pay pal comes after you for the money back. This has occurred so expect ten days before the folder ships if using this method. Prefer cash payments or mostly please but I will take the other. Just be prepared to wait. Its too much risk for the amount if you pay with e check or credit card so FYI.
This is an 8.5 ounce folder. It is 5 and 1/8" closed. It is 5/8" thick with .100 ti liners and carbon fiber scales. It is blasted and the carbon fiber is textured for grip. The lock is the Triad lock by Andrew Demko of course.. The blade is CPM154 stainless and is slightly over 3/16" bar stock! Ti spacer in the rear. Blade is 3.5" long. Well, a bump over 3.5. Not quite to the next mark on the ruler. This folder is a beast. Stout and thick tipped with a wedge yet able to slice so thin it will astound you. Opens fast and easy and is surprisingly kind to pockets and easy to carry. It could whittle shavings or chop small logs for starting a fire, make some quick tent steaks or for using it and a baton to split wood is not impossible. The lock and system of this folder can certainly take it. From wood splitting to cutting your steak all in one folder. World class! If you ever wondered what a folder would be like if you could get one as close to a fixed blade for performance as possible this is it!
Anyway, here are the pics. Questions just ask. I have two clips for this. One shown that came on it. And the one on it I did that also ships with it. Thanks
