Great knife, nice and solid but surprisingly light for it's size.

The other thing that kept me from considering a custom was the rounded tang of the blade when closed.
It is totally exposed to elements and also rides against the lock bar during operation.
So any damage will be noticed when opening and closing the knife.
It's a decent design and I will certainly try and C

Love mine, seriously well made, easy to operate and strong as hell. Good balance in the blade between being overbuilt but still a decent cutter. Also, you dont NEED to spring for the custom version, the MG (machine ground blade) models are just as great, it just obviously costs more for Andrew to hand grind every blade himself hence the premium price. Or heck wait for the Cold Steel version it's going to be 90% of what the custom is in function and build, I'm going to grab a CS version to use as a daily user.
