Hello Bladeforums!

Currently testing the waters to see if anyone is interested in upgrading their MG AD20 to a Custom AD20!

This knife is a splendid example of craftsmanship and comes in 20CV with Blue G10 handle. It has a satin hand-ground hollow grind blade with no hole.

I am proposing a trade for other specific AD20s.

I am willing to trade for;
- 20CV blade with slot. (DLC preferred but not a must)
- G10 colors of Red, Gray, or Green.
(Plus $250 cash)
*OR*
- Full Titanium MG 20CV blade (DLC preferred, but not a must)
- Titanium can be smooth or textured, doesn't matter.

Not really, this is mostly trade bait to shake loose a 20CV with a hole.

Having spoken with one of the Demko's though, I am on the verge of retracting the offer. Only about 20 of these were ever made, hand ground right before production of the MG was finalized and they started releasing them en masse.

Right now, I would only be seriously tempted by a Full Ti, 20CV, with a hole. Otherwise, I am likely to wait for the next series of drops and find one more to my preferences.

If someone went ham in the CONTUS and offered $1k, that might also open my hand, but I doubt that would happen at this point.

Stoked about the trade, posting so I can leave feedback when it's done:)

Having thought on the matter a bit, I was never buying the Custom to start a collection.

I am a more pragmatic type of person and keeping a work of art like that, I admit it is very likely I would subconsciously be holding back or treating it like a safe queen.

I am glad it's going to someone who will appreciate it fully while I go out and put mine through it's paces.

(In short, I'm stoked too!)

I've actually been talking to John about getting a set of blank Ti slabs to carve up for myself, that custom blade will be a much nicer match for those when I get them done:D

If you ever bring yourself to sell that future masterpiece, would you mind asking me first?

(I was having thoughts of exactly the same nature, but ultimately my knowledge and ability to do something like that would be only good enough to buy Flytanium scales for a Spyderco Shaman and upgrading that particular knife.)

Regardless, I am sure you will do it justice!
