When I teach a beginners Bladesmith class I demonstrate by making a knife along with the students...this is from one of those classes
Forged in a coal fire from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated by bringing the blade to non magnetic in the forge for three normalizing cycles; tempering was done with two cycles in a toaster oven (not very high tech but very effective)
Camo Micarta handle
Overall length: 9 1/4 inches
Blade: 4 3/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
SOLD Helivered within the US. My PayPal and mail address is gldrewknives@gmail.com

Oops, I just noticed the spot in the middle of the handle......rain drop but its dry now.
