"Demon" - Jose DeBraga

Absolutely fantastic. Literally. High knife art at its finest. Congratulations to you and my admiration to Mr. Braga.

Very unique piece Bob.. I rarely see DeBraga's work shown anywhere anymore... Your photos give us a good look from various angles, and his carving skills are well displayed on this knife... It's a little on the dark side, but I really do like it... I doubt I would have been able to guess who made it, given two or three guesses... That right there makes it very cool to own... Best Regards, Rich

Really cool. From imagination to execution the details are just right on. Just when I think I love that guard most of all I go back and look at the blade and the handle...one great score.
Congrats Bob!!!

I'm re-opening this particular thread so those unfamiliar with this artist can see some of the diversity of his work by running two threads of his work at the same time. Hope you enjoy it. This particular piece now sits on the desk of my "New York attorney", who just HAD to have it. Another one of those pieces one hates to have ever see depart from a collection.

Apologies in advance to anyone who dislikes thread necromancy - as do I.

Very interesting knife. I've always admired people who have spatial thinking.

I very much enjoyed this piece...exceptional.

Bob, I was running through some ideas for a compatible, and complimentary sheath for that piece, but then I noted that you no longer have it so that ended that;).

Like others, I'm not a fantasy knife guy, generally speaking. But this is an interesting piece with great detail. I'd be less concerned about getting stabbed by this knife than about having it removed. :D

Hahaha! I can only imagine what you were imagining!;););)

And, Paul, what ideas have you come up with for the other DeBraga I've shown below (Star Ship)????:D

Paul, I would have thought that a nice pair of chaps (but with three legs) would have been an interesting idea for the "Demon".
