This a new model and the second in the Mod series. The concept behind the Mod series is for a compact, robust knife design, having tremendous tip strength. I decided to "kick it up a notch" and move from the standard thickness of 3/16" thickness to 1/4" for the two pieces pictured here. My initial thoughts were that 1/4" would be a bit much on such a compact piece, but now that I have these two complete, I think I'm having a change of heart!

The knives shown were made from 1/4" thick 1095 carbon steel, and after surface finishing, ended up at .235" in thickness. The knife is 8 1/2" overall in length and has 3 5/8" of dual hollow ground blade length. Short "Bull-Nose" clip profile with swedge, yet some belly in the profile for utility purposes. The weight of knife is right at 7.5 oz's. The blade flats / sides have a nice line finish and the blade bevels have a nice satin finish. The thumb ramp is serrated, as well the back end for reverse grip deployment. Finished off with black 550 cord with a twist wrap.

Spine fold .080" thick kydex sheath with kydex belt clip allowing for vertical / horizontal belt carry, and a length of 550 cord for static IWB carry.

$235.00 each, delivered CONUS. I do accept checks, money orders and Paypal.

Thank you for taking a look and please feel free to email with any questions,

BTTT - Reduced to $215.00 shipped Conus!

There has to be some carbon steel lovers out there who would like to have a hardcore, beefy backup!

These knives have a really nice satin finish, but can always be converted to a low-glare DLC finish if prefered.
