Denim blue jeans with a gusseted crotch?

Never finished my comment... Back when I was in college and into martial arts big time, I had some of those Chuck Norris jeans. I liked them. I still remember confronting a big guy having a "rather heated discussion" with his girl friend while I was on my way across campus to class. I was actually really good at martial arts (on our demo team, in great shape, very fast reaction times, and fantastic kicks); but I was wearing tight jeans that probably wouldn't have allowed me to kick above my waist. I told him to move on and he did; but it was pretty iffy there for a bit and I was sure wishing I had some different jeans on. I think that is the weekend I splurged for the Chuck Norris jeans. I didn't have much money and they were more expensive than other jeans; but I never regretted it. They were very comfortable to wear, looked good, and I could comfortably kick very well with them on.

+1 on the wrangler riggs. They are comfortable. I noticed that the OP stated that he prefers heavier weight jeans. Riggs jeans makes a loggers jeans that have the double walled legs. They look real heavy duty. I noticed carhart has new style of jeans out that might worth a look. They are a relaxed fit, a little too baggy for me, but not so baggy that you will be mistaken for a gang banger.
