Well, here it is. Many of you may have seen it from this thread: http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php?showtopic=11059
I spent quite a bit to experiment on this project. I learned a lot of great things that I'll use in later blades. I think it was money well spent. This blade almost made it to the scrap bin, but I decided to finish it. It turned out a little better than I expected it would. Obviously a user and not my finest work, but it should be a great user blade for someone. It was left rough for the overall look.

Full Convex grind
Just under 3/16" thick
5" blade
9.5" OAL
Denim Micart Handle
Solid copper guard (I goofed up cutting the hole in it, so you can see the gap left. My soldering job didn't really help cover it up that much either)
Can't remember what type of steel it is to be honest.

Price: SOLD . Email me at stevenbrigitte_at_comcast_dot_net or just shoot me a PM.

Temper line:

Solid Copper Guard. First time using copper as a guard. Won't do that again. I do like the effect the etchant left on it though.

This isn't ebay or any type of auction site. As a maker, you establish a price you believe is fair, with shipping included or state an additional shipping amount.

Not knowing the steel is a downside. Was it heat treated? If so, was it done before you were given the steel?

The knife looks to be a decent user, with some potential in the right sheath. I think the micarta and blade finish came out rather nice.

It was heat treated by me(edge quenched). Hence the temperline. Etched with FeCl.

What I meant was that I'm not sure if that would be a good price or not. I think it is, but I'm letting people know to not be afraid to shoot me a PM or email.

I think you are putting yourself down too much bro,IMO the knife came out great !
For $80 the knife is a steal, the gap can easily be sealed with some JB weld and someone will then have themselves a great looking, functional blade !!!

Now if only I had some money !!!!!!
