There is a cigar shop in Denver that had some nice knives when I was there in 2005. If you do a yellow page search for cigars, you should find this shop as I do not recall another in that area. I seem to recall it was near a large park.

Be for warned their prices were fairly high lick everything else in Denver.

Sportsman's Warehouse closed their Aurora and Littleton stores quite a while ago. They are still up in Thornton.

Hey guys, I am in Denver for a while and would love to check out the best local knife shops with quality folders and high end stuff. I know this thread is a bit old so I was hoping some locals can chime in on what is around these days. I am located right near Coors field.

I visit several times a year and there used to be a real nice store in a small strip mall on the way out of town towards West on I-70, but couldn't find it last time. I asked at several outdoor and gun shops but nobody knew of any other than Sportsman's Warehouse or Bass Pro (outside of the Spyderco Outlet). I'd love to know too for next time I'm out there.

I got some good stuff over at the Mile High Fleamarket. gotta sift through some stuff, but you can find some real gems.

I was just at Rocky Mountain Specialties yesterday. Excellent selection of knives, they are really fond of ZT's and BM. They even let me fondle my first Sebenza. Kifaru no longer carries knives.

Rocky Mountain Speciality Gear is the place that relieved me of a lot of my money for my first Sebenza. I like that store. I'm not into bows, however, the handmade longbows are really nice.

There's a cool knife shop on Broadway in Englewood. It's called Dave's knives. Dave Case is the owner, real cool guy.

I moved from Colorado to Utah in June. When I left the shop was still open. Dave was having health problems so not sure it's still up and running.

This is a good knife (and bow) store as well. Good guys running the place!

Oh come on it's not that bad.

Granted Pete's Kitchen,Denver Diner Barracudas and Bennies on the hill are my favorites out that way.
