Also, insurance jacks up the cost quite a bit if we're talking USPS. I'm only going to assume HTM/DDR uses insured shipping since that is what he asks for customers to use when shipping in their knives for sharpening/warranty work.
 
Dang, I'm literally 2 states away and I'm paying $15.

Someone please chime in that they got charges $15 otherwise I'm calling and asking tomorrow.

Scurvy, it sounds like it was just an error when they calculated your shipping rate. Give them a call tomorrow.
 
I spoke toStephanie last Thursday and still no work order/receipt for my deposit on number 12 and 23.
 
I know it shouldn't have to be this way.. But it is; send her a email asking her where it is at because you haven't received one. She had told me she sent it, but I never got anything. I sent her that email and she said she sent it on Wednesday (it was Friday when I sent this email), and all the sudden, I got a email with my invoice.

Idk If she is busy, or just not THAT organized. I'll be hopeful for the first one.

I feel you bro. After a couple of emails with no result, I gave her a call today and then, WaaLaa. Woohoo! My order is confirmed. These babies will be my first 2 from DDR. I met Darrel at a couple of shows but never pulled the trigger. Glad I did with this one. I can't wait.

Stephanie stated that the "system" is down today so any charges authorized today will happen on Monday, just a heeads-up for others that may call today.
